You will find boat captain's selling fresh shrimp and oysters. Get there around 10 am if you want to buy some.
Last time I was here there were 3 boats with fresh shrimp. The large ones were selling for $3.25 a pound. the smaller ones were going for $1.50 a pound. Prices change with size and the amount you want to buy. There are also several different types of shrimp. Now I have seen shrimp that were 8 to a pound. These big ones are great to grill or butterfly and fry. You will pay more for these real big ones, up to $5 a pound. It's worth the money!
